You can import O/S 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 raster data tiles and create routes for uploading into gps, download tracklogs and poi's into it etc. The problem is not so much the software but the data. The O/S don't price their digital map data at a level affordable to the average human unless it is all wrapped up in an application like Memory Map and AFAIK impossible to export. If you happen to work/study in a higher education institution things might be different as many subscribe to Digimap. http://edina.ac.uk/digimap/ Tony -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
