I would email their customer service department and politely explain that not everyone uses Microsoft Windows or Apple MacOSX. I would also point out that ActiveX is - and always has been - a security risk for computer users. Make the point politely, but make sure they realise that you are annoyed about it and may consider buying a competitors products - and informing everyone you know about their poor service blah blah - if you don't get a reasonable response back from them. I *always* make a point of contacting companies if they demand that I use Microsoft products to view their site or use their products. In the main, I get ignored, but occasionally I get a lengthy reply which may or may not be useful - but at least they responded. On a couple of occasions, I have even seen changes made to websites which only worked in IE etc after complaining. One letter/email may not bother them, but if they receive a few over a period from different customers, they seem to take notice.
