I think you'll find that Organiser doesn't really work well as a shared Calender. Are you wanting to run the Lotus Organiser program on Linux or have a shared calender? If it's a shared calender then you might want to have a look at something like eGroupware which is web based but would work on anything with an up to date web browser. To backup the Terastation to a Linux PC I assume you would need to mount the network share (I guess it's standard Samba/Windows file sharing?) and then run a script with something like rsync to back it up. I have done something similar myself although I haven't got a copy of the script to hand. I know I certainly used rsync and mounted a remote samba share anyway.
