In the mean time I was just checking out Kino. But it doesn't seem to import hdv, only regular dv. Anyone know of a way, even a command line way, to import hdv? I'd like to get some film backed up and not just have it on tape. Even if I can't edit it yet! :) Anton Anton Channing wrote: > Just tried installing cinelerra on ubuntu feisty > and it says it installed okay, and its added an > icon to my Applications > Sound and Video menu. > > But when I click on said icon, a window appears > briefly and then vanishes.
