Interesting. I am on Entanet/UKFSN (Max Premium) and my connection has been up for 6 hours. I'm not sure if it dropped out before that or someone manually reconnected it, as I wasn't home. It was fine for the rest of the day before that though. Using a Draytek 2800VG (which incidentally has a conexant adsl chipset, though not a conexant router-on-chip that I believe the problems were attributed to), Roche exchange, Central 1 (you can use entatool on windows, or the entachoice website to find out). Maybe none of them can get a connection. :-) My connection has been up for about 50 minutes now. Something of a record for today. Previous best was about half an hour, I think. In all likelihood, weather is a large factor in my problem; The overhead 'phone line runs under trees, and the branches are taking a battering in this wind. Strangely, or rather, surprisingly, the power lines that are higher up the same poles are fine, with no power outages. -- Regards _ / ) "The blindingly obvious is / _)rad never immediately apparent" Does she always shout at you, does she tell you what to do Family Life - Sham 69 -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
