am a bit new to this - i think you mean do this?

sudo visudo

which opens nano
then add in another line (not sure of the format - is this ok?)

# User privilege specification
root            ALL=(ALL) ALL
username        ALL=(ALL) ALL   # its this bit i add?????

if thats what you meant i'll give it a go

however when i then remove the line again - won't the menus just
disappear?
