Are there any published figures for how much energy it takes to produce electricity from a conventional power station? Obviously they should include development, finding sources of fuel, drilling/mining, building pipelines/railway lines, the costs of employing all the people involved, eventual decommisioning? Same for nuclear power stations? Might be an enlightening read.
