We used to support FSM at the GNU project, but then they started running ads that 
promote proprietary software. They also stopped printing up dead tree editions.

personally i'm in favour of quarterly publications, ordered by subscription or from 
bookshops.. Like make or 2600. 

a free software quarterly costing about 5 without software would be totally awesome.
