If our ideas about meeting at Liskeard School or St Agnes are not to be fulfilled soon, I am happy to offer a meeting at my home near Godolphin. The first two have priority as we have talked about them. What I could gain from it for myself, just to put this up front, is the possibility of getting a network up with wireless for the laptops (one Windows and one dual), cable to one Windows and 2 Linux desktops, 2 printers (one on the Windows machine, the other a Linux) and other hardware pre-prepared like a network storage disc. This would need someone happy to do the technical side and help ensure everything is there for the session. I presume many, particularly new members, could value this. The above would be a bonus and I am happy whatever members want for themselves, as I think a meeting our end is long overdue. The connection is supposedly 3.6Mb/s and usually around 2Mb/s file download. I will arrange 2 switches at either end of the house so we can plug in or use wireless at both ends downstairs. I do have plenty of wall sockets and extension leads. There's enough space for several activities at once if that's how we end up - though a resume of each would be useful.
