Hello everyone. I've had several attempts at getting Japanese TV over the internet, but have so far been unsuccessful. I managed to get BBC News to work on one site, but very few sites work with the firefox plugin. It seems that video streaming is something of a non-standard mess in the commercial world. For both realvideo and windows media video the firefox plugin tries to load and then stops. Sometimes I get half a second of sound before it stops, but usually not. Mplayer and xine don't like it either. Xine I have no idea what it's problem is (can't stand it anyway). Mplayer -v says: Cache fill: 5.53% (18136 bytes) Checking for YUV4MPEG2 ASF_check: not ASF guid!
