Rest of the install is pulled from the network. http://www.debian.org/CD/netinst/ some tips... *choose the expert install if you want to setup like ubuntu (i.e. no root pass and sudo rights for the initial user) *don't use the graphical installer (buggy for me on various machines only a few weeks ago) *install only a basic desktop system and add the rest when you have rebooted the installed system (downloads much faster IMO) -- .~.
