Been using my T3, os 5.2.1 for over 2 years. Syncs fine with linux. There is a lnux app similar to the palm desktop called j-pilot that links to pilot-link tools. Bithdays are just annual events. I have these and annivesaries set up as those. Jpilot works much better than the gnome/kde daemons which are pretty flaky. OS 6 (cobalt) is the newer palm os. Lifedrive support has very poor support under linux. I am able to sync, install and backup/restore fine. Not had the courage to fully install linux on my T3 yet. Especially as I use it for tomtom.
