Now if you'd said what you wanted the number for ;) Looks like it didn't survive logrotate at 06:30 this morning -- I think there are issues with the Debian start-up script for Apache2, see my blog entry for details, but I haven't filed a bug report yet because I wanted more discussion on it. http://www.debian-administration.org/users/simonw/weblog/104 Anyway, it needs more tender loving care as it spat two warnings at me when I restarted it, but that is Neil's problem. I'll happily stick if on the notify Simon list at work, but Neil better switch logrotate from 06:30 before I do that (any time between 10AM and 10PM is fine - see /etc/crontab). Simon
