Under an e-mail address hosted by purplecloud I send a mail from my PC, conected to eclipse, via my ISP, eclipse, and using the eclipse smtp server. At this point the address could be an old rubbish, (although obviously a valid address is better), purplecloud is not in the picture. It uses an IP address assigned by eclipse, an address which may or may not change the next time a thunderstorm knocks out the power. If I whois the address it brings up eclipse. Any returning mail is handled by the purplecloud pop3 server. Are you saying that any mail sent to you from an eclipse customer is rejected as spam? How do I trace the spammer you uncovered who is connected to the address that is currently assigned to me? Is this a defect is eclipse's security? Said it'd tax your patience....
