Etch takes one step closer today. The package set of Etch is now frozen. (Packages that have a release critical bug open for more than a week can be removed from testing during the freeze.) Other changes from here to the Etch release are: - fixes for release critical bugs (i.e., bugs of severity critical, grave, and serious) in all packages; - changes for release goals, if they are not invasive; - fixes for severity: important bugs in packages of priority: optional or extra, only when this can be done via unstable; - translation updates and - documentation fixes. :-) Steady as she goes - Etch will be ready when it's ready. :-) -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
