OK, mea culpa, a spelling mistake on my part. I have now sorted it out
and copied the file over.

However, when using a gui I find that I cannot include the hidden
folders when I want to transfer a file, even if I have them included in
the instruction from the view menu in my home folder.

Is there any way to do that?
