Software patents were rejected by the European Parliament and thus Microsofts "Intellectual Property" is not valid in Europe. If it comes up just make sure people know this . There may be a problem in the US (although I doubt it for a number of reasons) but Linux users over there will have to deal with that. This is just more of Microsoft's usual FUD, they've realised they're in trouble and are reverting to type. --- Tom Potts <tompotts@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=35830 > > > -- > The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG > http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list > FAQ: > http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html > Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
