compare the mactels with the equivalent spec dell. the ones i looked at there was about £200 difference. and dells aren't cheap either. can't comment on the powerpc ones other than noting (obviously with the bucket of marketing salt) that apple advertised the mactels as 4x faster. > Yes, proprietary [sic] can be available without monetary cost but the > cost comparison of Macs is subjective.
