Have you had a hand in organising or running them? Do you have a track record of writing HowTos, FAQs and/or user guides? Do you regularly respond to queries on public mailing lists and/or bulletin boards? Do you have experience of open source business models? Would you be able to present teaching materials to academic audiences at conferences? If your answers are yes and you have a degree or equivalent experience in computer science with a focus on software engineering, then please get in touch with us. We are looking for a Research Officer to join our team in order to provide advice and guidance on open source software development methods to projects based in UK higher and further education.
