Here's a crazy Debian question for you: 3 servers each running Debian stable. All of them have *just* been apt-get updated and dist-upgraded... so why do some of them have older versions of some packages. Just as a silly example: Fileserver has: libgpmg1 version 1.19.6-19sarge Mailserver has: libgpmg1 version 1.19.6-20 This is not a problem, I was just curious as to why multiple machines (all the same Arch, by the way) each running Stable and each having only just been updated to the latest would have different versions of some packages.
