If it's not that important then it can wait until I do get home. The chances of me being able to do anything about *whatever* away from home are negligible anyway so it's a moot point. Unless as an example it's a friend telling me to wait in the car when I arrive as he needs a lift to the shops, or 'can you remember to bring X with you?' which again is a tad pointless if I've already left.
