One of the big issue with migrating to GNU/Linux is people don't know what software is available that is equivalent, or even in the same area as the software they are use to, and even when they do, they don't want to relearn (especially for professional use, where relearning means less work gets done per hour). But since Inkscape is already ported to Windows, and Xara still sells on Windows, some people clearly prefer Xaras take on vector drawing, you'd have to ask them. My needs for vector drawing are a lot less than most peoples, and my last professional work with vector graphics was probably map drawing at the Meteorological Office. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
