Hi Robin Quoting Robin Cornelius <robin.cornelius@xxxxxxxxx>: > > What about you interface(s) configuration > > "ifconfig" > > and your route? > > "route" > > Can you resolve names > > eg: > > "host www.dclug.org.uk" Unfortunately all connection to the net has now dropped! ipconfig and route are not recognised in a terminal by Ubuntu. Maybe another user can tell me what to try please?! In the meantime I went into network tools - netstat and clicked on routing table information and got a whole load of stuff. The top two lines are: Destination 192.168.1.0, Gateway 0.0.0.0, Netmask 255.255.255.0, interface eth0. Destination 0.0.0.0, Gateway 192.168.1.1, Netmask 0.0.0.0, interface eth0. Do you want the rest please? Thanks. Rich -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
