It's a linux based PDA/media player etc. Also wifi enabled for browsing and mail. It runs qtopia and can sync with the qtopia desktop. It is more expensive though. The official price is around £350, but I've seen it for £225 on amazon uk market place. Has a 30GB hard drive and very fast data transfer via usb. A very neat gizmo, although not an open source project in itself, an sdk is available though. Also will take some os apps written for the zarius.
