Is this on Windows or Linux?

OOo 1.x ran a bit slow (and was so ugly), but I put OOo 2.0 on my new
Arch setup and it's pretty fast and looks great.

I've never used 1.x for serious purposes, but I must disagree: OOo 2.0 loads in more time than GNOME, and its GTK imitation is ghastly.

If it weren't for my perpetual marriage to functionality, I'd use Gnumeric/Abiword/etc.
