I have been lucky enough to get an ADSL router that ships with VXWorks on it *shudder*. What's more, it doesn't have a telnet interface (even though the web-based interface says it does). It does have FTP support, but you can't use that to update/upgrade the OS... you need to "flash it" using the supplied Windows software (*shudder again*) with a USB cable. But, flashing it voids any warranty you may have on it... Oh, the joy of getting the cheapest router I could find. At least I have an IPCop box running behind it. :D Grant. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
