I'd agree.. except I have never had a problem with the desktop using the exact same combination of OSs. As the laptop has only just come back from repair, where they put in a new motherboard (mainly to assist in creating more landfills - not that it needed a new motherboard), I'm wondering if the new motherboard is set-up differently. The BIOS is pathetic and gives me no options to find out.
