My current computer is so old that I need to start again. Luckily, in my home town (Holsworthy) there is a very good computer specialist/shop who will build to order. Also, to my surprise, two of the people who work there, including the main engineer, have a reasonable knowledge of Linux. They have talked about going for 64 bit computing. I see that Mandriva 2006 include a 64 bit version. They also suggest that I should have a flat screen monitor (TFT). Any comments, warnings, help and/or suggestions will be gratefully received.
