-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi James, Couple of things I found on Google: Is your BIOS time set correctly? What happened between the last time it booted properly and now? One site mentioned Duplicate IDs for drives causing this error. Finally one guy said updating his LILO version corrected the problem, which ties in with a couple of others that said specific LILO updates had fixed this problem. What version is your LILO? HTH! Kind regards, Julian James Wonnacott wrote: > I have a mandrake 10.0 box which gives the above error on boot. > I've googled and found a lot of stuff about sata (which I don't > have) and SCSI (which I don't have) Its just a plain old Seagate > barracuda. > Any ideas anyone? > > Thanks > James -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFD/YzTjs/5IBdCO1ERAurIAJ0Xr+tZJ/QxQ3ldNzNE/tHp48PHQgCffkud R54awr5Ewhc87/mMrN1QjiI= =GNJd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
