I have a Linux box working as a server. It works perfectly:-)The problem is it was set up by a previous technician who has now left- taking the root password with him. Yes- I can (and have) mounted the disk in another box and can therefore get root access to all files.
Is there any way of setting a new root password? Thanks James -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe. FAQ: www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
