I first bought it on two factors: It was described as 'the TFT of choice for graphics professionals', and while not a professional myself I am a stickler for quality: Price - at the time it was the cheapest. Added to that a friend who builds systems for people says that the AOC gives the best picture of any TFT he has seen. Obviously with the age, my specific model may no longer be available. However I would be surprised if the new ones were not at least as good as mine.
