The very next call was the *EXACT* same problem! Computer Shopper did an article a couple of months ago on Computer Stupidities and included a couple from their own staff. One of the staff had asked for a BIOS update on floppy disk and GUESSED the motherboard version. Oddly enough it killed the motherboard. By a sheer stroke of luck his CD still worked, so they sent him the right update on a CD-R.
