Right, I now have the if statement working properly... Only problem i have now is when gs is called from the script, it doesn't exit properly... it goes to a "GS>" prompt (exits when you press ctrl+d), which is fine while testing but when this goes live to convert files put in a specific directory (via ftp) it needs to work without interaction. Anyone know how to get gs not to do this ? -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
