Hi all, I've just installed phpsysinfo onto my webserver, and it keeps telling me that the thing is using 90% or more of it's RAM. Sure enough, when I ssh into the box and run top it shows snort using nearly 15%, mysql using 7 or 8% (although there's sometimes 10-15 instances of mysql listed) and about 10-15 instances of apache2 (each showing about 5%). Now these alone add up to over 100%, so I'm guessing that it's showing me that apache2 is using about 5% RAM and there are 11 instances of it sharing that memory? Anyway... it's not swapping, so I'm not that concerned, but I wondered if it is normal behaviour for a webserver to run with near 100% memory usage? Cheers.
