Thanks for the offer, 17" monitors are a little bit bulky for this project. Luckily I have been given some carboard boxes that fit 2 15" side by side, but it wouldn't work for a 17", and my 3 up 2 down is filled to the rafters with kit at the moment (I have pictures that prove this) so I'm trying to stick to smaller units. However I do hope to see you at the meeting.2005/10/24, Neil Stone <neil@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:Well its not definately off, but its not definately on either. If you can keep the dry ones till Thursday, I will hopefully know by then if I can use them. How many do you have ?Hi, I think to join DClug meeting. The company I work for has 2 spare 17" CRT monitors and we are happy to donate them. Should I take them with me (I have no boxes)? -- With Love, Marcin jid: martii<at>jabber.bnet.pl uin: 2297222 -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe. Im bringing a small K12LTSP demo system, perhaps I might be able to persuade Mark to point some of his machines at it and see if it can take the strain ? Any bets gentlemen (servers form is 800Mhz processor with 384Mb RAM). Convention has it that it will start swapping about the time client 3 logs in ), which is a bit of a blow because this is the server thats going to Cameroon if nothing better turns up. Mind you I have seen a 500Mhz with 512Mb run 8 terminals with eerm "reasonable" response, but thats another story in a totally different country. Buy me a pint and I will tell you all about it. ;-)
Thanks again for the offer. Tom. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe. FAQ: www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
