Hi all. I have recently attempted a fresh install of latest suse and everything seemed to go pretty well. I chose grub as the boot loader and installed to a second hard disk as I usually do. On rebooting the grub loader initialises and I am left hanging. It won't go past the actual loader. Grub has worked as I have gone past and onto the main suse graphical screen that shows what stages of the boot process is happening. If I boot from the 1st installation CD and then choose boot installed system everything is ok as is halting the loader from harddisk and choosing safe boot. I tried booting with do dma which seemed to start ok but when changing this to be default using yast I had the same thing on reboot. I have already tried changing from grub to lilo and again it gets past the boot loader but then stops elsewhere. I was running suse 9.3 previously and no hardware has changed since.
