I am trying to connect using xchat

i get the error

Perl interface loaded
* Looking up newserver
* Unknown host. Maybe you misspelled it?

when trying to log in

I added a new server and typed

irc.flashtek-uk.com

where do I specify the port number, I am currently using Xchat underWindows XP, however it should work under any operatng system


I have even tried irc.flashtek-uk.com:6969
