Can anyone recommend a company/business within Devon/Cornwall who specialises in working with Access Databases.
As a long-term plan moving it to an SQL database is probably the one people in the Microsoft channel are _supposed_ to come up with, but as a short term plan for Linux advocates, it isn't a good one, unless there is a problem of speed, capacity or need for additional functions. So in the interests of moving an ecology through mixed to Open (and on to Free by all means) it is actually desirable to have some firms that include people who can do Access maintenance and also people, possibly the same, who can do MySQL/PostGreSQL and so on. Just suggesting that they move to another technology in one go is probably counter-productive when it gets out into the community. Now, I need to move my MTA from NT4 to Linux, I may be gone some time. -- Adrian Midgley <amidgley2@xxxxxxxxxx> -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
