We have a client who is based between Truro and Falmouth who has an access
database which is in need of updating. ;-) I would *update it* to a nice *sql database* such as postgresql or mysql on debian sarge ;-p Seriously, its quite easy to use a ODCB connector to make M$ Access talk to a mysql database. Having the data in a sql database opens many possibilities for data access. You can still use Access *clients* or VB,VC++ etc BUT ALSO php perl etc from server side web stuff. Depends on what you want and need to do really. -- Robin Cornelius --------------------------------------------------- robin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.cornelius.demon.co.uk http://sourceforge.net/projects/rt2400 GPG Key ID: 0x729A79A23B7EE764 http://www.biglumber.com/x/web?qs=0x729A79A23B7EE764
