Unfortunately, all my Saturdays in August are taken, except one: 20th August. Anyone fancy a Sunday BBQ?Sounds good to me! It would be good to have a more formal meeting at some stage as well. Software Freedom Day is September the 10th this year, which is a Saturday. Maybe we could find somewhere to have an install day and some talks? Regards, David.
I would like to come in August, but I can't guarantee anything. On the SFD front - I will try to have a word with one/some of my manager-type people at College to see if they would be interested in hosting it (or at least letting us host it on their premises). I will also see if they have any good ideas about promoting it to local companies since they will undoubtedly have some contacts due to having to promote courses - not much point in preaching to the choir! I'm going to an informal meal with most of the department next week, so I will (hopefully) get the opportunity to speak to lots of different people about it then.
