Just to follow up on this, i found out his static IP and setup two new firewall rules. One allows him explicitly access to the port i'm hosting tomcat on, the other denies the rest of the world.
Have you thought about using a VPN solution? IPSEC works very well, and offers encryption as well as authentication. It solves any future dynamic ip problems and is more maintainable and scalable that simple firewall rules alone. Cross platform as well, works well on Linux, Windows etc Robin Cornelius --------------------------------------------------- robin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.cornelius.demon.co.uk http://sourceforge.net/projects/rt2400 GPG Key ID: 0x729A79A23B7EE764 http://www.biglumber.com/x/web?qs=0x729A79A23B7EE764
