Are there any descent virus scanners for linux?? I was thinking of something that I could set up as a cron job to run say 4 times a day, and report back to me if anything is dodgy. Cheers Jody Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com
There is almost certainly no need for viral checking in Linux, due to a) the fact that nobody has yet bothered to write a virus for it and b) its security is so excellent so as to provent any viral activity. And, I don't think there are any virus scanners for Linux, but SELinux is a good way of improving your security.
