If they are in /etc/fstab then it will probably try to mount. Have you tried removing them?Thanks for that. Got it mounted RW, rm'ed the symlink.. rebooted.... It *STILL* looks for the NFS shares and hangs.
*scratching head* Do I need to dump the nfslock symlink too?
