I may (shortly) give it a shot then. If XFree/XOrg aren't *that* different yet (I'm quite happy with a little tweaking of config files, so long as they're documented) they I may give it a go. I'm taking a 2h "class" for some degree students (I'm not sure which course they're on) next week - an "overview" of basic Linux concepts and some server stuff - so it might be an idea to have tried this "new" X that many distros are using. Ooh... I know what I forgot to ask: NVidia's non-free drivers. Are they likely to work, d'ya think? Cheers.
