Well, according to the University, they don't because if they did, Outlook etc. would break. Personally, I couldn't care less if Outlook breaks. However, it does mean I can ssh into the Termisoc servers. I could point out that their network would be much more secure if they didn't rely on Micro$oft (in fact, I think I did; their response was "Well, if something goes wrong we're guaranteed support from Microsoft"). However, if their network was more secure I'd have to go back to FTP.
