Very hard to say without more clue what you are doing (I mean we can see your building a webcam driver from source....).Trying to...Is there even a makefile in "/lib/modules/2.6.5-7.111-default/build"No akm@xxxxxxx:~/alex/2004/12> ls /lib/modules/2.6.5-7.111-default/build/ akm@xxxxxxx:~/alex/2004/12> ls /lib/modules/2.6.5-7.111-default/ build modules.alias modules.ieee1394map modules.pcimap extra modules.ccwmap modules.inputmap modules.symbols kernel modules.dep modules.isapnpmap modules.usbmap This used to work OK with the 2.4 kernel, I suppose there have been some changes in how modules go in 2.6Seems an odd place to put a build directory to me!I think it was where the source for the webcam driver wanted to look for it though.
About all I can do to help here is to say that the pwc driver does install under 2.6 kernels - I've done it but only with a vanilla kernel. I'm assuming from the 7.111 bit that you're not building with a vanilla kernel - I'd be tempted to try it with the most recent vanilla kernel just to see what happens.
