Hi all; I'm looking for a good reference to PHP & MySQL development in book form (I could use the internet but I'll be doing most of my learning offline on trains etc). I've done lots of web development already using Microsoft technologies (ASP,SQL server etc) so I'm looking for something which is more focused on the intricacies of PHP (v4.x.x) rather than the general concepts of web development. Any recommendations? Anyone selling anything?
Php & MySQL Web Development, published by New Riders is pretty much the best book on the two, probably near enough the equivalent of the Camel book for PHP/MySQL development. I wish we had it at work ;) -- James jamesk[at]homeric[dot]co[dot]uk "A little scream. Is that so much to ask for?" (Amb.
