Hi Aaron, this probably is not much help to you as you are using a USB ADSL modem. I connect to BT Broadband using a Draytek Vigor 2600 ADSL Router. It plugs into a BT socket via a filter and has 4 ethernet connections. My fedora box connects to the router via an ethernet connector. Its very convenient because you can connect other PCs and a printer too. Ian On Thu, 09 Sep 2004 17:22:45 +0800, "aaron Moore" <aaronmoore@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> said:
Hi Can anyone offer advice on connecting to the internet with BT Broadband. They have given me a BT Voyager 105 USB ADSL modem and I am running Suse 9.1 If my first question is "what kind of a modem is ADSL" I think you can guess my level of Knowledge. If it is possible I'm gonna need a blow by blow account. Thanx in anticipation Aaron -- ______________________________________________ Check out the latest SMS services @ http://www.linuxmail.org This allows you to send and receive SMS through your mailbox.
