We had a small turnout for our "meet" at the Blue Anchor in Helston tonight - just Grant Sewell, M Blackmore and Myself.
However, over a pint, we had a very interesting chat on subjects ranging from BIOS booting problems and the comparative memory requirements of Windows 95/XP and Linux to the potential impact of chinese industrialisation on world oil supplies and parenthood in general. The meeting broke up about 10pm by mutual agreement.
It was disappointing that more members were not able to attend but was still enjoyable.
Both Grant and myself commented that we feel marginalised because the membership (and consequently most meetings) tend to be concentrated in the Devon side of the area and there are relatively few meetings which we can easily attend.
Best regards,
Mark
