xmms - Versatile X audio player that looks like Winamp
Xmms is the standard player which most people use.
totem - A simple media player for the Gnome desktop
Totem is the default on a mandrake setup. Kscd is the most popular with people who use KDE Sometimes linux seems to have *too much* choice - don't you think?
